Easter

Easter morning at our house beagn at about 7:00am. Brady was very excited to wake up his daddy & see what the easter bunny had brought. Brooks was clueless until he saw his basket filled with candy. He dove right in, in fact, he would stick the chocolate right in his mouth with the paper on! Brady was more interested in the toys he got and selected a few pieces of candy, but nearly as much as Brooks. What a breakfast! We then got ready for church. The boys looked so cute. I tried to get s ome pics but they were not very cooperative. I was sweating & finally accepted this as the best I was going to get. Enjoy!

It's baseball time in TN!

Baseball practice began this weekend as Billy coached Brady in the backyard. This will be Brady's 1st season in the Coach Pitch team. He is learning to hit well, of course daddy is pretty particular, and practicing fielding the ball. Of course, I think he does great!

Happy 1st Birthday Brooks!

Brooks turned one on Sunday Jan 25th. We celebrated by going to the waterpark in Seiverville,TN (mostly for the other kids in the family). We all had a blast. Brooks was a little scared of the water but enjoyed the swings and hot tub. We thought he would dive into the cake, but he did not. He was very careful about putting his hands in the icing and was slightly confused as to why I would let him make such a mess. Such a sweet boy!

Discoveries, discoveries! Brooks has also learned that if he puts food over the side of the high chair Cassie will come take it out of his hand. He absolutely loves this! You can see his face light up when his plan actually works and she takes the food from his fingers and then gives him a little lick.

Brooks has now discovered the toilet paper roll. I guess all kids do it, but he gets so excited. And boy is he fast. The funny thing, is now he knows he's not suppose to unroll the TP and he will try to put it back. So Funny!
