Birthday Bash

Saturday Brady had his 5th birthday party at our house. We all had a blast. It was a Waterpark theme so things were wet and wild.

Happy 5th Birthday!

Wednesday was Brady's 5th birthday. It's hard to believe he is already five. My how time flies. We are having his "actual" B-day bash this weekend but we celebrated with a small cake on the 17th. Look for more pics of the celebration next week!

1st game of soccer

Brady had his first soccer game on tues. He loves soccer (against daddy's wishes). His team is very good and so adorable. Brady did score his first goal, so he was very proud. Although they do not actually keep score, his team won by 9. We'll see how the rest of the season goes.

TRIK-A-THON

Last Friday Brady's preschool had a trik-a-thon to raise money. I never knew how dangerous trikes could be. It was hilarious! One cute little girl was chillin' while she was driving. The kids would be racing around the circle, not be watching where they were going and just ram into the back of her trike. She fussed at Brady several times. He loved it. I saw his face light up a couple of times as he would hit a stretch where nobody was in front of him and he would pedal as fast as he little feet would go. What a great time!

Photo op!

OK, I admit I am a little obsessed with taking photos. But the boys change so much each day I just can't help it. They are so good too. They accept their momma's crazy & obsessive issue. They love me anyway. So here are new pics of Brooks' 1 st bubble bath. He just tries to eat the bubbles (he eats everything). And, of course Brady loves to blow the bubbles in his face. At least my boys like to take baths!

Beat the Summer Heat

As summer ends and we patiently await the cooler weather, we are enjoying our last couple of weekends in the Tennessee heat. It's so hot and humid here that I even went down the slide. Billy found it amusing, I was a little disappointed--it was not nearly as fun as I thought it would be. Brooks is starting to enjoy the water, but not quite independent enough for too much fun. Brady is, of course, the daring one who jumps off of the top of the slide to the bottom. Billy laughs as I scream at him "stop before you break your neck!" Wow! I am starting to sound like my mother:)
